- Gantry Crane:
A gantry
crane is a particular kind of crane that has two or more legs that travel along
a track or rail to support a horizontal beam or gantry. The gantry beam is
typically mounted on wheels or rollers that allow it to move along the track
and a hoist is attached to the beam to lift and move loads.
Gantry
cranes are commonly used in manufacturing facilities, construction sites, and
shipping yards to lift and move heavy loads over short to medium distances.
They are particularly useful in areas where there is limited access or overhead
clearance, as they can be designed to operate in narrow spaces.
There are
two main types of gantry cranes: single girder and double girder. Single girder gantry cranes have one beam that spans the gap between the legs, while double
girder gantry cranes have two beams that run parallel to each other. Double
girder gantry cranes typically have higher lifting capacities than single
girder gantry cranes, making them suitable for heavier loads.
Gantry
cranes can be powered by electricity, diesel, or hydraulics. They can also be
operated manually using a hand chain or lever. The size and capacity of a
gantry crane depend on the specific needs of the application, and they can be

- The cranes' structural components are created in compliance with IS - 807, which certifies that structural steel used in crane production complies with IS - 226 applicable standard.
- All drives are made to perform well and efficiently.
- The hoists have a short headroom, are easily operated on anti-friction ball bearings in an oil bath that provides positive splash lubrication, and are developed in line with IS - 3938.
- Our design makes repairs and maintenance easier.
- Strong steel hooks that have been manufactured to meet IS-3815.
- A special plough steel-tasted wire rope that complies with IS 2266.
- For L.T. motions, dual drive configurations will be offered; a central drive arrangement is also available upon request.
